You are insane, the current normal Criterion difficulty is already below the Mariana trench.

And yet funnily enough is still not doable for most of the playerbase who can easily handle Variant dungeons (which are easier than regular dungeons due to role actions). There's really nothing in between again, other than the larger mechanical difficulty jump (which is what pretty much kept some people from doing EX in the first place because there's nothing to help transition over the learning curve).

Honestly though, if the normal criterion is more accessible to act as the "midcore", it's much easier and healthier for the raid community for more players to see a less steeper relative difficulty jump into savage criterion and Extremes like Bozja and Zadnor did for other players. At the very least, there would be more people doing that content than before as it caters to the group that has no content for them currently.

The thrilling conclusion to the worst story arc in FFXIV aside from Hildibrand. For clarification I mean the current MSQ though I can see why some people would confuse it with Myths of the Realm.

More shiny copypasted armorsets as alliance raid rewards as if we didn't have that for each raid this expansion.

Okayish pvp gear that would've been great if it had a full cape.

Terrible pvp gear that doesn't fit the game world in the slightest.

No dungeon gear, I'm assuming that means it'll be another round of recycled sets otherwise I see no reason why they wouldn't have shown them off.

Finally some (not gender locked?) Devout gear to make up for the lacklustre Krile robe set but locked behind content I will never do because I don't find spreadsheets fun.

For some reason a faerie mount drops from Squidward's Tiki Land.

Conclusion: another entirely skippable patch.

Please delete Criterion savage and make Criterion normal the savage version and the normal version slightly easier. The current Criterion savage is just bad.

That's gonna be an issue for me... many of the Mogstation items I own are stored in the dresser dyed in expensive colors like Pure White or Ruby Red, so I don't have to keep buying those. IIRC the armoire won't let you store dyed items.

Pure white and jet black items are a glitch in the plan, yes, but I don't think ruby red is too precious. You can buy it from the Island Sanctuary shop, so there's an ongoing supply of them that are basically free in the long run.

I'd go for making Criterion Savage slightly harder than normal since you outright skip mechanics right now. Otherwise, yes. There is zero reason for the Savage version to exist and nearly every player doing it as criticised the design. Most would rather prog new mechanics instead of doing quite literally the same fight but "lol don't die." That part can easily be shifted to an achievement.

The armoire won't take dyes, but glamour plates do. If you want the storage space back, you can put it in the armoire, then dye it on the plate. Not a perfect solution, but very little in life is.
