Finally figured out why the post broke..so now I can finally put this out.
I suppose this is a good time as any to list for all the tanks for the nth time. Added spoiler tags so your eyes don't bleed from a wall.
DRK:
- Actual active MP magement via damage-mitigation interaction via a revised Dark Arts, much like Heavensward's.
- Souleater replaced with Power Slash. Power Slash was by far the most satisfying between the two to execute
- Shadowskin brought back as a low level The Blackest Night
- Edge/flood either revised or removed and replaced with Dark Arts
- Shadowbringer removed or used as a resource spender. Change the animation so that it isn't just bigger Flood of Shadow.
- Dark Passenger brought back as a low level Shadowbringer. Flood of Darkness->Flood of Shadow->Shadowbringer would be a good upgrade path if the Shadowbringer animation isn't modified as well.
- Do literally anything with Delirium that doesn't include it being a copy of Inner Release. At least make it give 3 different powerful GCD's if you're going to keep this functionality. Old Delirium->Bloodspiller->Scourge for example.
- Bring back the haste on Blood Weapon
- Another low-cost blood spender GCD. (20 gauge or so)
- Living Shadow is press and forget, it's massive potency but feels mostly powerless when you press it. Something like Enshroud that functions like Bunshin but with your Darkside would feel better.
WAR:
- Nerf Shake it Off.
- Like with Power Slash being more satisfying than Souleater, replace Storm's Path with Butcher's Block.
- Making what's essentially two different versions of bloodwhetting was unnecessary, just make it one ability again like it was in Shadowbringers
- Make upheavel cost gauge again, as well as Onslaught
- I don't personally feel like Inner Chaos feels good in the rotation, I'd like to see this animation changed into something else.
- An additional ogcd would probably help burst downtime, even if not by much.
PLD:
- Make Goring Blade a DoT combo finisher again. It's just a boring damage button now.
- Fuse Holy Sheltron and intervention, like Bloodwhetting and Nascent Flash, it feels unnecessary to have them both when TBN and Heart of Corundum can be applied to you or another party member.
- I'm not a fan of Atonement as it is, but I'm not entirely sure what else that can be done with it.
- Remove the gauge cost on Cover if you aren't going to make it as potent as it was during Stormblood.
GNB:
- Remove the third cartridge, increase the potency of Burst Strike and Hypervelocity to compensate.
- Heart of Light is identical to Dark Missionary, either make it both physical and magical damage or something else. (If you make it party sustain, do NOT make it as potent as current patch Shake it Off.)
- Maybe after executing Hypervelocity, it amps your next Burst Strike?
