You do realize the third party program users probably make up a substantial amount of users nowadays. So much, in fact, SE would stand to lose millions if they ever did anything about it. In short, outside the OP outright exposing themselves, the STF won't do anything.

Exactly. I completely missed it too. I mean, first of all, it was too fast. Second of all, I don't use mods so I didn't even know it existed. Yet somehow, someone who CLAIMS to be on the same modding experience I am knew EXACTLY what to look for and when?

There are a thousand things wrong with this dated game and its client and you all want to go after someone who wants to make things smoother. I would LOVE a mod that would actually fix these PS2 level graphics. Look at shadows. You can literally count the squares. Nevermind most of the armours and robes in the game. The minute curves and details are included, it's literally just squares touching corners on a very obvious level.

You can use the controller and just spam X for it to trigger the first entry on the menu. You can also edit which menu option that is.

Just wait for a plugin that fixes this to become really popular, get some people banned and then be actually implemented by the devs, only a matter of time.

How is the game going to determine what is "junk" to you that you want sold versus what is valuable that you want to keep?

Most items in the game have a purpose beyond being sold to a vendor for gil. The Salvaged Accessories, Clear Demimateria and Allagan Pieces are the rare exception (along with probably a few others I can't think of off the top of my head). But even those some players would want to keep separate to use at Doman Enclave.

Without something that automatically differentiates the two, the wrong items might get sold while the right items are ignored.

Besides marking obviously useless vendor items as junk, just allow players to mark items in their invetory as junk themselves and then add an option to "sell all junk" to vendors.
This technically wouldn't reduce the time you need to spend on inventory management but you at least wouldn't have to do it in the vendor menu.

Even without talking about turning in the same levequest 99 times to dump allowances, it needs a rework. Also thanks for the unintentional reminder, i'm at 37 allowances now so i should probably dump a few.

what they're doing is somehow more unethical than RMT for the health of the ingame market and economy, if they aren't already using the absurd amount of gil to be the seller in the RMT scenario.
SE needs to fix the housing system fully, you shouldn't be able to buy an FC house if any of your alts exist in an FC that one of your alts/main bought an FC house for. And track that across all worlds on the data center. Not just "Oh you can't buy an FC house right now, the alt that bought <FC1>'s FC house is still in <FC1>. Just make them leave and you're perfectly fine to buy an FC house for <FC2>!"

I just wish we had a proper sellback timer on stuff like tomes. That's really only one thing I wish they'd copy from wow which allows you to get back currencies on certain items for up to 2 hours (as well as letting you trade loot you get in dungeons/raids with people that participated for up to 2 hours).

In Wow, you can install an addon that automatically sells all your junk when you open a vendor UI.
I suppose SE could build in something similar. However, it might be more difficult here. because I don't think there's a trash item designation like in WoW, where the item name appears gray.
