Can we get better a vendor UI already?

Someone really felt the need to humblebrag. This feels like a Stormpeaks alt to me. They love to brag about how housing isn't messed up because they were on the new worlds with tons of open housing that they bought up.

Wot next? U gonna ask for "Greed The Rest"/"Pass The Rest" button in roll menu, so u can ez Pass/Greed all unselected items? Or be able to Premark items in inventory as trash, so u can 1-click sell them later? Or maybe better chat channels, so we dont have to sit in NN, coz its only 1 global channel? And then, later, u gonna ask for something more complex, like working /tell in duty finder, or Cross-server weddings!?
Are u mad? This game ui supposed to mimic late 2000s experience, no QoL features allowed. Even new portrait system was implemented the way, to make u annoyed.

How is the game going to determine what is "junk" to you that you want sold versus what is valuable that you want to keep?

Most items in the game have a purpose beyond being sold to a vendor for gil. The Salvaged Accessories, Clear Demimateria and Allagan Pieces are the rare exception (along with probably a few others I can't think of off the top of my head). But even those some players would want to keep separate to use at Doman Enclave.

Without something that automatically differentiates the two, the wrong items might get sold while the right items are ignored.

With how much junk the game throws at you, the vendor (and retainer) UI is terrible... It takes forever to navigate and it's often very laggy.
Especially when you get into gathering and crafting, invetories fill up fast and managing and selling is a big hassle, eventhough many games have solved those issues years ago.

Am i the only one that is annoyed by this? Some more cynical people might say they leave it intentionally as is, to make you spend more time in the game.

For reference i went and sold a full inventory of junk, which i bet a lot of you can relate too, and it takes over a MINUTE, which i think is unacceptable. I get 4 errors in there as well

You realize that in the few frames between selling an item and rightclicking it shows that you're using a modded client, right?

You can use the controller and just spam X for it to trigger the first entry on the menu. You can also edit which menu option that is.

Just wait for a plugin that fixes this to become really popular, get some people banned and then be actually implemented by the devs, only a matter of time.

Besides marking obviously useless vendor items as junk, just allow players to mark items in their invetory as junk themselves and then add an option to "sell all junk" to vendors.
This technically wouldn't reduce the time you need to spend on inventory management but you at least wouldn't have to do it in the vendor menu.

Edit: Anyway i reported them to the STF, and if they're irritating anyone else here i'd recommend doing so yourself. Pretty obvious case of breaking the user agreement.
