Its not. In fact it's something I hear more from those offering critism than those offering counterpoints. Revisionist history maybe?

It is a reality that its better to play this game with another one, but too many people use it as an excuse to not accept any criticism for the game. I wish xiv players were a bit more critical of the game they claim to like.

Maybe folks aren't overly critical because they enjoy the game currently. What you're basically saying is you wish xiv player had more issues with the game that they don't currently have, which is odd.
