Let's make Duty support for our Chocobo's

Can you make duty support work with our Chocobo companions, they can take up two spots like in tactics, or just one.

Also, could we get our Chocobo companion to help us in PotD aswell, that'd be great.

You'd need to give the chocobos similar movesets to some of the duty support NPCs, which isn't a bad thing.

Chocobo could peck Gaius and Zenos down while you relax because saving the world is below you and something you outsource to a common chocobo.

Our Chocobos is far from common, and better them than the default losers.

I'd rather my Chocobo have a slot in my Squadron and have Squadrons expanded.

OP, I really agree. It would be neat and let people go and do a lot of old stuff "solo" if they like. Not to mention, in the narrative, despite in game us not doing it much, it's implied the WoL and Chocobro are good friends and companions, as Ardbert and old man Amaro were.

I feel like, on an alternate timeline, the perfect system would combine all the elements of chocobo companion, retainers, squadrons, and duty support / trusts, into one big NPC ally management side game. You could create your own party members using the character creation interface, gear them up as they level with you or send them on away missions, give them a job and set their talent points / behaviour. Optionally, you could also use other creatures like chocobos or other monsters that you capture and train, with different abilities for each. Have them hang out in your house/apartment/island when they're not busy.
