I will say though, Westerners and our insistence on having to make our individual voices stand out instead of adding to other voices gets a bit tiring sometimes.

Do you desire to be a cog in the machine? Because I guarantee you it's not a good experience for them either. What a weird thing to even partially fantasize about.. I feel concerned for anyone thinking these kinda thoughts.

Humanity is exhausting in general, so just go sit on the couch and flip through the channels so you can reduce yourself down to being a statistic of opinion. No need to talk anymore, just watch the things that make your brain feel something.

I'm not against individualism. I'm very much for individualism (in life that is). What I don't like is everyone and their uncle spamming the forum with their own fan fictions and spins on a topic that has been covered over and over again. That said, if having individualism means we have to deal with more spam on forums, eh, I can live with it, so I'll concede you're right. (did i just agree with r041? scary)

People think JP is all anime and moe and good vibes. In reality they have a lot of complex and ugly social issues similar to other countries.
