Clearing something up about first-time bonuses

Has anyone ever got a second chance point from clearing a guildhest? If so, what update was that in? Hests use a completely different first-time bonus compared to other duties, so i'm unsure if it was ever possible to get them.

I don't believe so.

First time bonuses for second chances were introduced in the same patch that Wondrous Tails were introduced (probably 3.1 or 3.2), though tomestone and exp bonuses (for leveling dungeons) existed for first time assistance before that, even as far back as 2.2.

I'm pretty sure they simply applied Second Chances to the same duties that would reward bonus tomes. Meanwhile, the 'bonus for first time per class' in Guildhests was added when the Novice Network and training area in Western Lanoscea was added, in 2.3, pretty sure.

I didn't bother to look these up, but they should be pretty close to the patches if they're wrong.
