Why not link the Frontlines Achievements with Rival Wings?

Most often the answer I get is that Rival Wings doesn't have a lot to earn from, and thus why its been a dead PVP mode, and preferring to play Frontlines instead because there is a lot more to be earned in it.

So why not just have the achievements & Mounts from Frontlines be linked up with Rival Wings?

Put everything under the same umbrella.

Like Frontlines Horse Mount: Can be earned from victories in Frontlines or Rival Wings.

and while we're at it, have Rival Wings be part of the Roulette.

Strangely, I'm kind of surprised people are not playing Rival Wings more often considering Rival Wings matches are much more quicker than Frontlines if you just need some tomestomes.


I know this seems like a messy idea, but unless they can update Rival Wings to have more things to earn in it I'm not sure what else can be done.

Another thing I've read this is purely a North American problem, seems like Rival Wings is fine and dandy on the Japanese servers (I have no idea what is going on with Euro Servers).

It's nontrasferable skillsets.

Those who are good at crystal conflict, are not going to instantly be good in frontline. Those who are good at frontline are likely to be bad at rival wings. Those who are good at rival wings are not going to nessissarally be good at either of the others.

You kind of don't want to put a rush of people who arn't good at the mode into the mode, they'll have a bad time, and hate rival wings because of it.

I would like to see some encouragement though to get more people into it. Weekend prime time and mogstone events shouldn't be the only time you can play a random game.

Personally I would like a PvP roulette with both frontline and rival wings

Rival Wings does have a lot to earn (achievements), it's just it's not in the "daily challenge" so it's out of the sight of the average casual player that wouldn't understand all the nuances in the PvP tab. That and there isn't a "daily" reason to do it because of it not being part of the daily challenge system.

Reason not to link the achievements: so you aren't done as quickly (a top criticism of Endwalker).

You have to manually queue for it, it's not in a roulette.

Terrible explanation then, you're not the creep, you're a regular moba player, with all the things that's possible to do.

Now why SE has taken so long to fix one map in RW is a good question.
