Best way to deal with Dark Knights these days?

Sometimes I see them paired up with another job to make things extra difficult to the point they can wipe out almost a entire party, I'm kind of at the point of desperation on how to deal with this problem unless I play bard.

But the thing is I don't want to feel forced having to play that every match now, but I don't seem to have much of a choice.

    Hey,

I play Bard in PVP too.. this is in FL.

What I do is when I get sucked in by DRK I instantly hit Guard.. in any situation.

You can see DRGs LB without the DRKs suck in so guard when that comes.

I instantly (And instinctively) silence DRK when they rush the team - it confuses them and at best stops them from their pull in so ppl can move.

I use Apex/Blast arrow on CD to make sure ppl around me are buffed.

All else fails, (like been targetted) bind, leave it for a couple of seconds then silence and run back to the team. We are support and very squishy!

You can secure kills with a power shot / emo arrow combo.

I usually stand behind my team - remember.. if you die who's going to buff the team?

I have over a 40% win rate in over 1000 FL matches using BRD alone (I really like it's flexibility! xD)

Are you talking about Frontlines because they're useless in CC

It's very simple really. When you see a Dark Knight running at you, spread out and run away. If you can't make it use Guard. And use verticality to your advantage, like in Onsal at mid you can just drop down and suddenly no one is attacking you anymore.

It cannot be any simpler. See DRK, run away. That's it, that's really it. If you're someone with a CC you can be the hero and CC the DRK but on a job like DRG for example sorry to say you really should just run away.

Wow, look your explanation about everything is alright, but "useless in CC" is quite a statement. They sure aren't meta, but I wouldn't exactly call Crystalline Conflict DRK useless.

There definitely is a lot of bad DRK players though and it is fairly difficult to play without a constant -50% damage reduction, so I can see why someone may think that.

I'm by no means an expert in PVP but white mages are very good at ruining my day with the poly and stun.
Just wait for a Dark knight to plunge in and drop salted earth. Then poly them, and LB them if you have that up right after.
