I didn't like it when that guy in a suit interrupted Yoshi P at some point near EW launch by going up the stage, explaining about PS5 support and joking by asking him for deadlines and stuffs. That's not funny, you're not cool, stop trying to be one. Greedy upper managements are why the game industry is dying. Microtransactions in a game with monthly subs is a corporation greed in it's purest form.

They took FFXIV producer to work two jobs with FFXVI while keep putting subpar items on mogstation for extra money. And when it's finally a good item (which is just a reskin of good models), they maks it expensive af. This game keeps Squeenix alive with stable revenues and this is how they treat the game instead of actually improving it to retain revenue. I wonder what would happen if sub numbers start to drop massively, maybe they will prioritize XIV again. Rinse and repeat. Typical really.

Remember when people thought this game was different than WoW? the saviour of MMO? when there were a lot of people coming from WoW? Well once XIV get big, they become greedier and start putting focus on the wrong places. One lesson we can take is, no matter the corporation, they need rivals to keep them on their toes. Otherwise theyre just gonna keep milking players knowing there arent better alternatives out there.

At this rate I dont have a big hope for next expansion.
