The altered felt robe has the boob window too, if that's what you are into.

Not really into it. It just looks like leveling gear. I hardly think it is appropriate to be in the cash shop.
With hair? Yeah! MAYBE. Without, yeah, no.

(Seriously we know you seem to be hesitant about long hair like Y'sayles and Ryne's, we honestly don't care if they clip right now, just give them with their respective costumes and fix them later on as neccessary you guys are doing a graphics upgrade anyways so you could fix it as you go, It's better to have them and fix em later on than not have them at all).

I honestly didn't think they were ever going to bother releasing it, since the hair was never going to be on the table and that was gonna make people livid.
Then again, they're mad enough (or off waiting for 7.0) - suppose there was never going to be a better time.

Mixed feelings about this.
The fact that hair isn't included is definitely off-putting, but do like the mix-and-match potential in some of the other pieces. I don't think I'd have hesitated if the hairstyle had been part of the package.

You are mostly correct, although your lists of matching gear are overlapping the origins of a few different sets.
The gloves and boots are from the Brand-new Mage (all DoM), Acolyte (all DoM), Direwolf healer and Cashmere/Saurian healer sets.
The skirt is from the Brand-new DPS (all DoW), Foestriker (all DoW), Direwolf aiming and Cashmere/Saurian aiming sets. However, the original model varies between genders, with the male version having pants under the skirt, but here it seems that both genders get only the skirt.
The robe is based on the Battlemage (all DoM), Altered Felt (all classes), Direwolf casting and Cashmere/Saurian casting sets. However, it has a number of small details that make it nicer IMO:
- All four other versions of the robe have a bandolier of potion vials across the front.
- Iceheart's robe has a prettier sash with elaborate brooches and the long hanging ends mimicking Shiva's ribbons. The other versions have simple brooches and short square-cut ends.
- One point in favour of the non-Iceheart versions: they have a more elaborate patterned section around the bottom hem, where Iceheart's is plain cloth.
As noted above, the skirt is not from the same set as the gloves and boots. Before the Altered Felt sets were introduced in 5.3, you wouldn't have even been able to equip a dyeable version of the mage skirt together with the dyeable version of the robe.
(Heavensward did a *lot* of gear recycling, though I think maybe people don't realise because most of the original versions are in the optional level 50 dungeons that not enough people unlock.)
All versions of the robe have the boob window on both genders.

Another thing regarding this set is that Mide from the Alexander questline also wears this style of gloves and boots, but she is a MCH and all the previous versions were limited to DoM/healing jobs so people can't cosplay her easily. This set isn't the accurate colour for her, but it's still going to be a better option than before.
the most ridiculous thing of all is that it just has a little bit of silver instead of the black that the LITERAL FREE IN GAME version has, i hope people avoid this, it's a scummy move even if yoshida has no part in the online store.
