But by using the feature you are suggesting, you won't be able to play with the same people on your chosen class for long. A toggle for slower leveling won't work, either you apply an xp change across the board or not at all. ever heard of this little thing called balanced play? Your suggestion annihilates it.
ya you will lol You are not going to get above 10 levels in a single party.... lolBut by using the feature you are suggesting, you won't be able to play with the same people on your chosen class for long. I'm beginning to thing you have a learning deficiency of some kind...
my post had absolutely nothing to do with the amount of levels you can gain in a single sitting. it had everything to do with your freinds gaining levels faster then you because they want fast leveling and you want it slow.
take this example:
leveling now - your friends (toggle set to no)
500 xp per kill
*500 kills per hour (arbitrary number)
-------------------------------------
=250,000 xp
* 3 hrs
-------------------------------------
750,000 xp
example of xp when using your toggle - your (toggle set to yes)
400 xp per kill
*500 kills per hour (arbitrary number)
-------------------------------------
=200,000 xp
* 3 hrs
-------------------------------------
600,000 xp
multiply this by several sessions and tell me you've kept up with your friends.

Unless there's also level sync, but then you limit yourself to PTing only with people who want to level as slow as you (which will be nobody).But by using the feature you are suggesting, you won't be able to play with the same people on your chosen class for long. Bottom line, it's a ridiculous idea. Rokien really wanted to simply say give everyone slower EXP, but he was too big of a chicken to come out and say it, because he knew he'd get flamed into oblivion, so he thought up the idea of a toggle.
LOL CHICKEN I've said it many times already in the past!~Unless there's also level sync, but then you limit yourself to PTing only with people who want to level as slow as you (which will be nobody).

There seems to be this notion on the forums lately of "everything I want added to the game should be toggleable, that way nobody will be able to criticize my ideas."
Exactamundo,
Rokien, if you wanna suggest that SE should bring back fatigue (or a fatigue-like system), then man up and do it. Don't say, "Well, since nobody likes it, we can make it optional. Please don't flame me." It's that mentality that led SE to give us three different options for targetting, none of which actually work.
