If your not a coder, then you wouldn't know what it easy to make and what is not. then you have Balance (which is a very crucial thing). Coding can be complex at times, Coding 1 thing then you have to balance it throughout the rest of the game.I think this would be pretty easy thing to do, unlike some other things. <Turn the thing on> <when on, exp= 1/2 normal exp> or whatever, I know it's more complicated than that, but still. Also, rideable monsters is a waist of resources and I can't turn them off. Though, that's a completely different debate.
I just rather see after 2.0 is out with the the Server infrastructure stable and everything else, I want to see content.. this is our 2nd year and we barely have anything to show for it.. Yes it may "look alot" but when 2 years have gone by its a crumb next to what it should be.
Your Toggle suggestion is fine (though I don't think many people would want the harder route considering if the easy route is there for the taking why go the harder way?) You will do the harder route obviously yes.. but would anyone else raise their hand to working harder to get the same thing as for someone doing it the normal way (2.0 way)?
Content>Toggles first please ^^
Well that's why I said there has to be incentives for taking the harder route. So more people would do it just for those bonus things(whatever they may be) .If your not a coder, then you wouldn't know what it easy to make and what is not. then you have Balance (which is a very crucial thing). Like I said I mostly like to level for 3 hours at a time(sometimes all day if I feel like it).
If in those 3 hours I get levels too fast, I'll miss out on lower level content along the journey.

Why do you need Fatigue to level slower? So, I was thinking a way to keep the same pace of leveling mixed with an option to have a slower pace of leveling. Bring back Fatigue, though, make it an option to turn it on/off if you want. Fatigue had level ups as well, so make the level ups beneficial to those who choose to have it on. It can give you overall perm. stat increase or something else.
Please give your hate, comment, suggestions. Please try to add to the idea. Because really, you shouldn't force people to play a certain way, I mean, that's what you guys always say.
You always have the option to level slower....
How can you have the option to level slower? Don't level? If I kill a mob I'm going to get the same amout of exp.
This is an mmorpg I don't like to play solo, so don't say you can solo. I play an mmo for a reason, to play with vast amounts of people. With this, I can still play with anyone while leveling slower.
I...what...he....did he just.....what?
Here I had hoped he took a couple weeks off to journey into the mountains and find a wise old sage to imbue some intelligence into him...
Turns out he took a couple weeks to journey his head into a wall.
Ok... riddle me this Rokien. How is you leveling slowly not holding your party back? How can you have the option to level slower? Don't level? If I kill a mob I'm going to get the same amout of exp.

If you're the only one who is leveling slowly and the rest of your party is leveling at "normal" pace or "fast pace" (whichever you prefer to call it), they're bound to surpass you, which means you'll be a drain on them.
Alternatively, you'll have to find a different exp party once they surpass your level. In either scenario your party is being inconvenienced because they have to stop and find another member.
Alternatively, alternatively, you can always find a static to level with who won't mind getting less exp per mob. So the solution would then be to just kill mobs that are several levels below your level- ergo, therefore, and thus... slow leveling.
Granted, the easiest option is to simply play solo and kill mobs without leves. However, I can understand why you don't want to go that route.
Its a waste of resources if.no.one is.going you uuse it. There are more ppl interested in bulge slider than this idea, what does tthat tells you?
You're not even trying anymore.
