Payment plan Legacy Screwing Players

OK im sure someone has already posted something to this effect though i felt it needed to be said yet again if it already has...
i noticed the post on lodestone regarding 90 day subscription plans being discontinued i am currently on a 180 day subscription so i have to assume the same applies for that one as well. Forcing those of us who prefer to pay in advance for various reasons now cannot and in turn SE claims to be giving us a legacy discount which is a load of BS due to the fact that by us only being able to pay on a 30 day basis we are essentially paying more than if we were on a 180 day plan. SO call it what you will but do not sit there and claim that we are getting a discount when in reality we are paying more. At least have the guts to tell us the truth rather than lie to us flat out.

that shuld hint you this situation is temporary :| they discontinuing now because in like 3 months the game will be shutted for some months

Legacy lets you have multiple characters for no extra charge. Once mailing gets implemented, free mules will be nice.

No one is getting screwed honestly. I think if anything those who didn't want to bother with XIV and trying to leech Legacy Benefits are the ones likely to get screwed over in some regard due to timing lol.

SE's not trying to screw us over payment-wise. They are just trying to avoid potential problems while the game is down for 2.0 beta testing/changing over from one subscription rate to the other. As they don't 100% know how long the game will be down, when it will be down nor how long it will take us all to get up and running on the 2.0 client, they are being PROACTIVE, and only allowing billing up to when the game is scheduled to be down. I'm sure we'll get more news and notices closer to the actual 2.0 beta time.

Bam. That's it. If you really wanted legacy, you woulda been paying all along. It's meant to reward people who've stuck with the game through thick and thin, not the people who want to jump back in at the last minute and pretend they cared.
