Wrong Gender used for non-player character in Post-Stormblood Sidequest text

In case anyone's interested, here's the JP text:

べルトリアナと話した。同盟軍の兵士であるジャニンに、身元を疑われ止められてしまっていたが、冒険者が仲介したことで事なを得た。アラミゴを目指して方旅立ったベルトリアナたちを追うとしよう。ハイバンクでベルトリアナを探し、敵が現れたら討伐しよう。

Roughly,

I talked to Bertliana. Allied soldier Janyn doubted her identity and stopped her, but the adventurer intervened and [something something worked things out?]. Follow Bertliana and the others toward Ala Mhigo. Find Bertliana on the High Bank and defeat the enemies when they appear.

It doesn't seem to mention Janyn's gender at all, just that they are a soldier of the alliance.
