I have found when killing monsters with AoE spells only the mob the spell was cast on will award experience points and sp.
It's not a bug, it's just the way the game is now. For now, only claimed mobs(with red name) give sp. Since you can only claim one monster at a time, killing multiple monster with a AoE only give the sp/xp for the claimed monster.
They are suppose to modify the claim system eventually. However we don't know when and how.

This isnt a bug... you were just killing unclaimed monsters in your aoe attacks. dont aoe so much.
I wish they allow us to claimed more then one mob. I think the GM does not get how the game works also and think it really is a bug.
That's hardly a solution.
Besides if the monster attacks us we should be getting XP/SP for it.
Of course SE could make it so that AoE effects don't hit monsters outside of the monster you are engaged with, but im sure a whole lot of people would complain about that lol.
Yep, if your tanking/taking damage and the like, you should get SP.
Annoying how there is a negative "reward" for switching to a tougher mob that may have been "body-pulled" while engaged with another mob...
With the crap solo SP, and nerfed "blue" SP, pack-farming wouldn't even be that viable without the claiming issue.
