[Suggestion] - Duo/Trio Content in 2.0

Just a thought I've been having and I wanted to hear the community's, hopefully positive, response to it.

Over the years as I've played MMOs I've enjoyed large-scale content with massive parties, but sometimes it's nice to just grab a friend or two and do some challenging PvE content fixed for duo/trio groups.

Now of course the gear wouldn't be on par with larger group activities, but still if you know you have some friends that wanna do something it's nice to have that option. This sort of thing is usually seen in the form of PvP in "Arena" zones where it's a small skirmish but, for example, duoing toto can be quite fun although it's hardly a challenge.

So if it wasn't already planned, to all the developers at SE: maybe consider some nice small group content for various levels ?

On a side note, last night ran a caravan with 3 people and won.. it was hectic and epic, probably the most fun i've had in a while.

I think they lowest they'll go is 4 however with the introduction to chocobo companions and such you might be able to do certain 4 man events with 2 or even 8 man events with 4.

+1 from me, There's nothing wrong with some low man content tossed in there.

sounds great, I am for it. Rewards should not be as good as from full raid 8/8 party. There could be alternative - still decent rewards of any kind.

It pisses me off that anything duo/solo isn't really worth doing. Whens the last time you did something designed for 2-3 players @ level 50 and felt challenged and was rewarded accordingly?

Give us some duo/trio content and make it worthwhile please!!

Small group content eliviates any pressure to form a reliable group. If this game is supposed to cater to casual play, then stop enforcing 8 groups or bust for any content worth doing.

I know this is an mmorpg, but it cant be hard to design some instanced content for 2-3 players that takes itemization into account.

Ive been playing as PLD with a WHM on and off lately as we kind of wait for 2.0 to bring others back and yeah, its really hard to find something that we can actually do as a pair that motivates us. Its not even about the reward really, i mean itd be great to have something to motivate us, but its really just about finding a challenging battle that we know we can win with just 2-3 of us.

After a very exciting fight with just us two against the faction buffalo (craptastic damage ended up having to leash him) i was left with a really strong desire for an NM arena or something.

Like say, choosing a lv range of 20, 30, 40 or 50, then choosing a party number of 1-2, 2-4, 4-6 or 6-8 and fighting appropriate NMs for a currency, like seals or arena points or something. Be such a great way to pick up any number of friends and have a blast with some straight forward NM brawls. I know we have guild leves, but theyre not a great challenge and theres not much desire to wanna run them at 50 besides the 'big' faction bosses.
