You can't honestly think SE will ban you for modifying something totally harmless to other players? There's no advantage to be gained by changing the music.

Not true at all.

Players who .dat swap won't end up being fatigued from having to physically turn down the blaring GC Chocobo music every time they mount up, and then turn it back up after dismounting...

Also, the .dat swappers won't have headaches from listening to the music when they get tired of adjusting the audio all the time...

Normally, I'd say it doesn't make a difference, but since the choco music is so obnoxious, I'd say .dat swappers have a clear playing advantage in this case.
