Chocobo Music is Disturbing me !!

I don't mind the music although it would be nice if it faded out on long rides, however my main wish is that it wasn't so loud when your running! if you stand still on your bird the volume is quiet, then as soon as you run it jumps past normal level to double volume. This is a real pain if I'm playing late at night and I have the volume on low so as not to wake up other people in the house, when I ride a chocobo it jumps up to a louder level and I have to mute my music until I stop or get off again.

The mixing in the game especially original soundtracks are pretty bad. Though all they need to do is make it fade out after a few loops like they did with XI's music and I know it's supported by the audio module because they can seamlessly transition Battle Music ontop of Dungeon Music.

In all honesty I'd say the best way to describe the Chocobo music is abrasive

It's lovely having all of that brass and such playing the score. I bet in a theatre it's fantastic and really moving!
However, I do prefer the Goobbue music when I'm moving to camp Drybone to hand in a leve.

The battle music is a pain too. For some reason whenever it starts up I cringe. The wail of electric guitars just doesn't seem quite right. Perhaps it's too noticeable for background music and it gets very repetitive very quickly.

Try and think about all of the music in XIV. Which tracks is your favourite? I struggle to pick one particular piece of forgettable music out from the rest.

Yeah, I like this too, with it's homage to The Magnificent Seven.

I agree with Elexia about the mixing, too. But it's one more example of the game being rushed to release far before it was ready. The Uematsu tracks we hear in game today are just copied direct from alpha. That's why all the new music (GC and primal themes, for example) sounds so much better.

I loved FF because of infusion of Music with places .. but something force me to play in Silence is !!!
THE GOD DAMN Chocobo music !! its distributing and don't fit my fantasy ~
so PLEASE give us option in configuration to disable the chocobo theme and keep background music on !!

And I'm sure there are a lot of other people who do share my opinion. Isn't it Nobuo Uematsu who made the music? If he did, you should worship him for being the god of music. He deserves your respect for each and every song he ever composed.

If you don't like it, I'm sure your free to modify the in game music files with music of your choice, like skrillex.
