Yes, how dare a Final Fantasy game set in medieval times have an orchestrated, medieval soundtrack for riding in the fields?
I kinda like it, but it is... different. Sort of like Final Fantasy does The Sound of Music.

I think he means the one with the western feel to it (I hate it as well) I enjoy Mizuta's arrangement better (I wonder what the legacy chocobo theme might sound like?)
Nobuo is highly overrated imo, he's no "God of music", sure he has some good themes but I don't go apeshit crazy every time he composes something. And no, he does not "deserve" my respect (Last time I checked, respect was earned not given out like candy), how dare I not like Nobuo Uematsu and prefer Naoshi Mizuta or Masashi Hamazau or Shinji Hashimoto!? And we can't forget his tiny contribution to FFXIII-2: EVERYBODY'S GONNA WANNA RIDE YO CHOCOBO!! *Dear lord no*And I'm sure there are a lot of other people who do share my opinion. Isn't it Nobuo Uematsu who made the music? If he did, you should worship him for being the god of music. He deserves your respect for each and every song he ever composed.
If you don't like it, I'm sure your free to modify the in game music files with music of your choice, like skrillex.
Opinions man, opinions.

He's far from overrated, however Kenji Ito, Naoshi Mizuta and Kumi Tanioka..now they...they need to compose for XIV.
(Naoshi is so 2 left to go.)

Seems alot of SE's composers are freelancers now :/ First Nobuo, then Hamazau, now Kumi Tanokia (And I think Kenji Ito too)
