Some really cool info, nice one! This is all I can find on Bravura and I suspect Stardust Rod isn't based off anything in particular, but it does appear in a number of FF games.

Bravura may derive from the origin of the word rather than the "definition" given.

So it's possible that the Axe is named for the sense of "Bravery" of fighting off against monster without a shield and tanking at the same time lol.
