Can We Get Dialog Box Options already please

First off I am primarily a console player so I can't use any mods that do what I am asking for.

I do not understand why there is no option to change the standard dialog box colors/theme.

I have extremely minor vision issues (lighter colors kinda bleed together is I keep staring at them) but for some reason these tan dialog boxes with super thin black font or incredibly eye straining to read for me.
It becomes progressively more difficult to read them the longer a scene goes on. To the point I start skipping dialog when I don't even want to.
Why isn't there an option for a dark mode or even the classic white on blue? It has gotten to the point where I just read what ever the last bit of dialog was in the chat box (despite the fact that the font is 1/4 the size) if I feel the scene is super important.
I don't have the issue when the villains show up and use the black dialog boxes (if there is alot the font might get a lil fuzzy but still very legible)

I have seen this issue or close to it in some reddit threads but the fix is always use this or that mod

TLDR: please implement settings for dialog boxes during cut scenes
