Yea, I'm very gun shy about randomly giving money to a sad story on the internet. There are legitimate charities that I'd much rather support than a rando on the internet with a paypal account or a gofundme with a sad story attached. I know it's cynical, but that's how I feel.

My concern is there doesn’t seem to be transparency with donations v spend. Unless I missed it.

I do like the sentiment though.

"cancer duty completed" which I personally find inappropriate, sure this is FFXIV, but it's real life we are talking about here, not a video game, it's real life cancer, not a video game, it's like making marketing out of it and I find it gross.
