do character creation options affect your character

I was just wondering if the character creation options affect your character at all? What I mean by this is the city I chose / birth dates / guardian / race? I noticed a small stat difference between the races but is this a huge issue if I just picked the race that I liked the best, and didn't pay attention to the stats?

So far the birth dates and guardian don't do anything. City determine the first story quests you'll have but eventually the 3 cities storyline merges together so i don't really matter.

As for the races while there is a small stats differences it don't make any difference. Just go with the one you like the best.

I suggest to choose the race that you like the best.
Small stats differences can be adjusted later but character's appearance will stick with you forever .

Date of birth does nothing atm, I just input my own.
Guardian does nothing too, just choose the one you like.

Starting city affect early story quest but they will be merged together once you advance it. Choose what city that you like its atmosphere and enjoy it. You can transport to all 3 cities freely so don't worry.
