Hey guys.
I've been playing in windowed mode since forever, and for some reason I found that the resolution 1534x801 is the best for me.
The thing is, a couple days ago, out of nowhere, my game simply decided to reset some settings (it changed the audio from Japanese to English, all the volume sliders changes were reset, it even changed the menu theme color from light to dark by itself at some point), and that's when my custom resolution stopped applying.
Let me show you.
This is the normal way, the original way, the way I like to see my HUD:
This is the "new" resolution applying, which is 1920x1001 (I know because of the size of the image on the screenshot folder):
It says 1536x801 but it's not, you can see the icons and HUD are much smaller.
I need to make one thing clear: I play windowed mode, but with the window expanded. It takes all of the screen, but with the task bar showing. That's how I've been playing for about 3 years now.
After the mysterious reset incident, my game opened up like this:
Which is, I assume, a 1536x801 size window. You can see the HUD is all fitted well, like my first screenshot. But when I expand it, instead of just "amplifying" the image like it did all of the previous 3 years, the resolution changes to 1920x1001.
I tried reinstalling the game, it did nothing. Then, I reinstalled the game again because this time I installed it on my SSD. And then I used the "Reset System Settings" option from the game launcher, and... there it was! My beloved screen resolution was back!! ... Until I opened the game again later and got stuck with the 1920x1001 one again.
I'm so sick of this. Since I couldn't make it work, I was playing in full screen with 1600x900 resolution, which is the closest I can get from the other one, but I HATE playing on full screen.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that, since the launch of patch 6.2, I get a black screen bug for about two or three times when I open my game, but if I persist, it opens. I don't know, I thought I'd mention it. I tried solving it for days back then, but nothing did it so I just got used to it.
Anyway, if someone has any clue of how I can fix my game resolution, I'd be forever thankful.
