Sorry, but this is weird. The thought that I might be doing a dungeon, trial, raid or whatever with someone who is underage. It's weird. A 9 year old should not be playing this game. I don't know that they should be playing any mmo, to be honest. I know you can do duty support, but still.

If this was an experiment you wanted to do, why wouldn't you do it with a single player game, if it was about practicing reading and patience? Why this game specifically?

I'd suggest rereading my posts; You're reading a lot into this.

This wasn't some grand experiment. This was "Daddy can I play with you?" that turned into me watching her play and/or having some observations/thoughts I thought to share.

Why specifically is it weird for a 9 year old to play this game entirely solo without really interacting with anyone else? Would it make a difference if she was 13? or 16?

US rates the game for 16+, Australia rates it as PG (so 12+), Japan I think is 15+.

At the very least, she is playing the game while being monitored.
