I do know I haven't changed a thing on my computer since like last August so maybe I d just need to reinstall. I hope it fixes the issue, I don't want to be experiencing this when the next patch and then expansion come out, ruin so many cutscenes lolA quick search and this is what I pulled up.
"It has been reported that some antivirus programs could also lead to FFXIV 90002 error, especially Avast. To fix the error, you might need to disable your third-party antivirus and firewall software temporarily. If the error still exists, you should try uninstalling the software."
So if any antiviral programs you may want to put them on pause for a moment when firing up FFXIV. If still having issues you might just need to uninstall and then reinstall. I doesn't take too much time to reinstall. Most the time it's patches but you should be up to date in that if you have logged in at least within a week.
