I’ve never pushed for anything to be changed in any game I play. I just play the games, bro. I have been repeatedly disgusted and appalled that brigades of metagaming tryhards bully developers into changing games to better suit their reductive playstyles.

The only reason I am playing FF14 is because there isn’t a levelgrind -> endgame mentality apart from a small and very vocal minority. There are many other games that have also come out in the past ten years…

The only reason I’ve even played as much of this game as I have is exactly because the devs are explicitly prioritizing the experience of the new player’s journey through the game over the whims of the hardcore endgame raid meta.

Don't even know how they "prioritze the experience of a new player's journey". Is that why the weekly agenda is something new players have to hear about from veterans? Or why none of the PVP modes or mechanics have tutorials?
