Not really. She doesn't appear at all when I search FFXIV on youtube. I get some stuff from ppl like Mr Happy and Meoni along with a number of vtuber stream archives and tons of cutscene clips from various ppl.

Why would I do that when I don't care? Someone has an opinion... cool. Everyone has an opinion. The difference is whether that opinion is one they came up with on their own or if they're just a sheep accepting someone else's. I enjoy the game when I play it. Hence why I've had an active sub for as long as this game has been active. At the same time I feel there are many things in need of improvement and disagree with a multitude of design decisions and changes that have happened over the years.

That WoW streamer also popped up that everyone made a fuss about awhile back because he started playing FFXIV but I think that's because he apparently became addicted to Holocure and posted videos of it because those have been popping up on my initial page when opening youtube. The MrHappy things that appeared on my FFXIV search were all boss fight guides, the Meoni ones looked like fashion/glamour showcases.

Nah I'll look into more important things... like this lineup of D&D inspired ales that are supposed to be coming...

Streamers are all about the money first, game second. Remember that when reviewing their content.

Because as has been explained as nauseum if you don’t care about a streamers opinion why are you announcing in a thread about a streamers opinion that you don’t care for a streamers opinion

If you have legit counters then go ahead but saying “umm achsooly nobody cares” Adds absolutely nothing to the discussion

I really wonder when people started to speak in such an open way about their mod use. I was also asked for Mare, and when I said, that I don't have this, then I got no reaction anymore. That happend in Crystal, too. But I also see more and more 'Mare' in the search info from EU players.

Seems a little bit like that people start over to make their own stuff, when on the other side SE don't deliver enough.

Because while a single person may possess intelligence, groups of people are stupid and prone to sheepish behavior. Inserting opposing forces reduces that behavior. TBH the original post on this thread honestly just felt like a shameless advertisement for this streamer in an attempt to get more views/subscribers.

I’ve joked a lot about this since 6.1: “If devs don’t give us content, then people either leave or makes the ‘contents’ for themselves.”

I’d also call some of these threads in the forum being one of those ‘contents’ as well
