Zepla: Endwalker is the Worst FFXIV Expansion I have played

She addresses that in the first minute or so. Her concerns remain even after taking a break...

Then her break was either not long enough or she has moved on from FF14 but hasn't accepted that yet. People change and she's clearly trying to expand out of FF14 for her persona and content.

With how much time she has put into FF14, she has more than made up for the costs a thousandfold. I don't see how any game can be expected to keep someone, who has done everything and put thousands of hours into, engaged forever.

FF14 has no reason to make drastic changes when what they've done has worked out so well for them for the vast majority whom are far more casual than Zep is.

Never said that. Game isn't perfect, but it clearly did something right if she poured thousands of hours into it.

Perhaps one day people like you will start to understand that "just take a break looool" does not make things any better, the complaints are still there, the game wont change, you will come back and have the exact same issues yet again, even if you took a break for a year, you'll have maybe 2 weeks of content at best, yay I guess ? Is that really that impressive ?

As a super casual who took a decent sized break from the game as well, I still have a lot of the same complaints. Thankfully there is the moogle tomestone event to keep me occupied outside of the daily roulettes and I missed my friends so I can hang out with them again. I imagine if I hadn't been a casual player for years I probably would say I have a lot of things to do, but because I have been playing for years I have done a lot of the older content that I wanted to do and am just floating around in EW without much of a goal or anything.

And I agree to an extent, there is thousands of hours of things to do, the issue is that EW doesn't have that like some of the previous expansions did. I think that is the point of the argument is that there isn't the same repeatability or reason to log in frequently like we had in previous expansions.

Nah, I don't plan to give her a view. It's clear from her past videos that she's lost the passion for FF14 and is more focused on expanding outwards. Good on her. She's free to do that, but I already have other content creators to watch who already did that and succeeded.

I wouldn't say she is pushing us towards WoW by any stretch. I think she is wanting to push us back towards ShB and SB with repeatable content and being able to have goals and reasons to log in and play the game when you want to play the game. She even uses an interview between Preach and Ian (WoW game director) where Ian specifically talks about wanting to create a game where people want to log in and play the game because that is what they want to do, not create a game where you feel obligated to log on because if you don't you start falling behind which I think is what all games like this should be striving towards.
