It would be neat, have someone else to quip and bond with Thancred. Maybe share embarrassing stories.
But honestly Im thinking more of an original character. Somebody new.
Everyone else on the list is already established, so it would just be interesting to see how they would interact.

The Beastrace character would be the Wildcard, or just the Newcomer whom we learn about, and perhaps would be a resident or just knowledgeable of The New World. Be a guide and stuff, and possibly has a secret agenda.
Not so much as "turn heel at the last second" but I guess more of a mutual benefactor. If I used that correctly.
