So ? Every raid in FF14 is FOMO. A UCOB clear in 2023 is disrespected, a UCOB clear in 2017 isn't. A week 1 clear is needed if you're applying to a hardcore group, a week 8 clear is thrown out. So there's already FOMO you just don't see it.

But you are pitching a Week 1 reward.
UCOB you can just do whatever and you arnt missing out.
A week 1 reward however is FOMO forcing people who want it to HAVE to clear it week 1.
Do the Math mate.
I don't think the game needs more fomo than it already has but I feel like the raids do need more incentives... just not ultimates. Savage tiers become so irrelevant its hard to find parties for them when they are old even in the same expansion (mind you, I don't say its impossible but its still way more patience an effort than people would usually give since pfs take longer to fill and therefore less time to actually prog them) so they NEED additional rewards either in general or after its relevant so it deletes another fomo factor from the game.

Relevant rewards that keep you coming back? All for it.I don't think the game needs more fomo than it already has but I feel like the raids do need more incentives... just not ultimates.
