Except even back then during season 2, you can pay 900 to get to top 100 and hold the position. And a partial refund is available if it fails to deliver. Your response just means you are just too idealistic as well.

Why is a middle ground needed at all ? If I see a dreadnaught, I know it's 90% likely going to be good PvP player, and 10% someone who just paid for a boost. Whereas the people in this subforum, some of whom have literally posted in this thread, are going to think "hmm ? dreadnaught ? 90% hacker/cheater/booster, 10% legit" because they're jealous.

Now you want a replica dreadnaught to be given to these people ? After they think it's just from hacking ? Why exactly do they need it, it's just from hacking after all, surely these people don't actually need it.

Because the "top 100 = wintrader/cheater" response is parroted mass hysteria that generally circulates in spaces like the forums consisting of large bodies of players who don't actually know bettere whereas the playerbase at large is generally a lot more positive when you tell them what the ownership of thoae rewards means.

I am thinking about the playerbase at large who isn't spewing vitriol ad nauseam compared to the forum dwellers. More people would benefit from having additional reward structures for playing even if it means taking old Top 100 stuff or recolours of it THAT ARENT having a residence and a bed on a forum page that its a net positive, even if toxic copypasta spammers were to get access as well.

Anytime in any game this pops up I just always think to myself.

Everyone funded the development of w/e rewards with them buying the game + subbing, so they should be able to enjoy the stuff made from that money just as equally.

I got a bunch of transmogs in WoW for example you can't get anymore, I'd happily support them bringing those back for everyone else to enjoy, no need to be selfish.

Make it a timed exclusive at best, then let everyone get it after x amount of time using currency that's tied to that activity, just straight up petty to want otherwise, and I don't even care about those ugly ass old pvp rewards myself.

Ehhhh... I see where you are coming from with this, but "funding the development by paying sub / buying stuff from mogstation" does not give you a "right" to have access to rewards, that's a privilege at best. What they eventually do with the exclusivity of rewards is for each game's development team to decide. But so far I agree, assuming you at least have to do relevant content that is at least SIMILAR to the original obtaining method, I'd be 100% on board if someone were to get a copy of my armour.

Nice misdirection. The point is about the prestige of these item. Not if someone is good at pvp or not. If it can be easily obtained through rmt, l see nothing prestigious about them. Might as well make an alternative way that's very grindy to get them

And Ultimates, The Necromancer, are also bought as well, your point ? Let's just punish the tens of thousands of dedicated good players in PvE and PvP because a few dozen RMT'd ?
