Let me explain PvP in a very simple way

I mean it's still a hit or miss. If all you do is 100% PvE or PvP but still get a win, it just means one or both of your foes are even more stupid than your alliance.

I do tend to win more when I'm in a more aggressive alliance.

There's aggressive and being proactive, and then there's running into a meat grinder the entire match. Usually, my alliances take the latter approach, so I rarely do Frontlines anymore.
