Awful lag from EU to NA servers

I had a tremendous ping two days ago on Crystal 450 (while playable on Aether and Primal: 170/180). Yesterday was fine and today we back again at 450 even on the other two options. Trying ExitLag and ofc it got better (180 with it) but I don't want to pay two monthly services (game + vpn), kinda annoying.

I use Proton VPN because it has very decent free servers to use, and my ping is stable at 165ms as it should be.

Currently 440 high ping on Aether, which has never been the case for many years of playing there, but for the past few weeks the game has been unplayable...

I live in Greece with 100dl/100up and I was perfectly fine in Leviathan Server, now for the past month the lag is unbearable. for example when i am just standing in a main town, i see other players skip (next to me at one point, then gone , further done the road next) when ever i switch a job it takes a while for the switch to register. I never had this issue. my ping is like 430ms, which before it was 112ms. I understand im in EU but never had this issue with ping. I have tried other games (NA servers) and run fine. Please assist?
