On Pokemon scarlet and violet do they ever fix the performance issues. I know initially a lot of people reporting that it wasnt performing very well in the switch so I held off buying it for my daughter did that ever get fixed??

Kind of. The Switch can only handle so much. The game remains poorly optimized, but it's still kind of "better" than it was. Not really sure if they have any plans to optimize it further with the DLC update. They haven't done that yet. At this point, it's better to accept that it doesn't run the greatest, but underneath the mess there's actually a solid game.
