the only one who only gets blind praise is soken
What's pathetic is you actually had to edit your post over ten minutes later to add "stupidest" to it. Apparently my writing struck your nerve that long to come back for more. So I must be doing something right.Stupidest comment of the day. So, what if he likes other content and not savage/ultimate? (maybe he even likes it, his comment doesn't say anything about it)
In any event, the game caters to more than one type of player. No problem with that. In fact, stats show that savage/ultimate raiders are in the minority. Personally while I liked that type of content for a while, I no longer like to be bound by a schedule when it comes to gaming, nor do I like bashing the same bosses over and over during hours, week after week (edit: an for what? gear that has no use other than make it easier to bash the same bosses over and over, week after week - edit: you said it yourself).
Casuals clear savage floors all the time. The hardcore community usually considers a week four clear as a casual raid group. Or a causal can pug their way and may even clear week 20, doesn't matter. The content isn't bound by anyone's schedule, only the game's expansion calendar which is almost a year to clear this tier. It's a misnomer to think savage is hardcore only content, it's not. Anyone can clear savage on their own schedule with some learning and dedication to the job and content. It's no different than dedicating to other achievements in the game.
I don't know what TC is talking about.
The Tomestone event is very active and there's so many people in Ul'dah atm.
I cannot even play BG3 on the side as my queues as so short even as DPS.
I have to ask... how high can you count?
Please take a moment and peruse the financial statements of SE before making ridiculous assumptions about where the 'bread and butter' of the company lies. The MMORPG portion of Digital Entertainment is about 18% of the 62.3 billion yen in net sales [FY2024 Q1]. The Amusement sector made more money in sales (yeah, merchandising and arcades, go figure) than all of the MMORPGs SE makes.
As for investing in other properties, it's what gaming companies do.
I saw this amazing quote on the subreddit and wanted to share it here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comme...i_have/jyuuvn3Square Enix has constructed a wonderful "fatigue" system in 2023 that consists of sheer boredom and emptiness. And not just emptiness in content, but in community as well. People have simply stopped logging on.
And many people love this because it means they can go back to playing BG3 or AC6 and pretend like FFXIV doesn't exist. But, if that's the case, then who's really disloyal here? Those who give tough love because they want to play, or those who say the game is flawless but hate actually logging on?
