This isn't true. They are much harder than that. If they get through all of the rest, I doubt they will get through T9, which gave people trouble for years even unsynced.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Yeah, my group of idiots (whom I love dearly) barely survived Twintania, unsync'd at like 80. Was only 5 of us though. 4 if you count floortank of a my wife.
Mighta been 70 but I don't remember.

Nah because it’s not normal raiders difficulty. The casual player base wouldn’t touch it.

There's not a reason in my mind to not just tweak them slightly on the damge numbers, make a few mechanics more intuitive or have better markers, and then throw it in the roulette.
Alexander normal has plenty of raids that can wipe easily for multiple times in a row.
Given the story importance and the difficulty in runnign them at 50, especially on free trial, something will need to be done at some point to make it accessible to people.

Coils is tuned to be savage level. It was also made at a time when XIV's devs really had no clue what a raid was and was throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck.

No roulette, they are the only good traditional MMORPG raiding we have left in the game. Great content to play with my siblings
I would love to see Coils be a bit more than just unsync burn for MSQ for the majority of cases.
They would still need to retune them though, especially if you want them in normal roulette, and especially when you consider the target audience and the level at which they appear.
T5 Dreadnaughts would still wreak havoc on a lot of people if I am honest, given they 1 shot everything up close, especially with Twisters going off simultaneously. Most people don't even stun at Level 90, or even know what their stun/heavy ability is for that matter.
T6/8 I don't remember very well, but in T7, you would have a LOT of deaths and wipes on Cursed Voice and Cursed Shriek alone. This fight is actually more annoying when you have more damage, though I may be thinking about the savage counterpart.
T9, Divebombs, meteors, and golems. Meteors most people can't even pull off on a normal raid level, same with divebombs, and you don't really have enough damage to skip these, you would have a LOT of wipes to this, if memory is serving me correctly. Let alone with the fire/ice mechanic.
T13 would still hit like an utter train. The others on the final tier I don't remember all that well. though Kaliya is a massive and utter pain. You do also need to remember that these encounters had enrage, so it isn't like throwing corpses at something until it dies, or having a Warrior solo for 2-3 minutes.
I miss Coils, a LOT, but IMO normal raid roulette is definitely not the place to be putting these raids, taking into account the average player's skill level, the fact they have a lot of mechanics that can and do cause wipes and the fact that enrages are very prevalent in Coils too. For earlier turns it probably won't cause much of an issue, but the latter turns are not really just throwing corpses at the turns until they go to 0.
It would be fun being able to do it, don't get me wrong, but there are far too many people who are averse to this level of difficulty in normal content - A lot of people would genuinely just take a 30-minute penalty, and any warning they make get alongside it.

Then just scale back the tuning and make it not hit that hard, the content has already been nerfed with heavy echo multiple times and it's not like there's people dying to play this content, it's basically dead content that mentors tell you to get a 90 to unsync carry you through for the story and then forget about foreverI would love to see Coils be a bit more than just unsync burn for MSQ for the majority of cases.

Yes, that was my point, that they would need to be retuned before they factor that in. I just made reference examples to why -- In its current form, it isn't really tenable to just slap them in a roulette without any adjustment. Then just scale back the tuning and make it not hit that hard, the content has already been nerfed with heavy echo multiple times and it's not like there's people dying to play this content, it's basically dead content that mentors tell you to get a 90 to unsync carry you through for the story and then forget about forever
Personally, if I had a choice in the matter, I would probably rid T6-T9S in its current form, swap all normal mode turns over to become actual savage, adjust the BLU mage requirement to be the completion of T5S, T9S, and T13S, so this functions the same without necessarily impacting the Morbol Mount or Mightier than the x achievements, and then just downscale from that so we effectively have a proper 2 tier difficulty for all turns off ARR, on top of then being able to place it in a roulette.
Would like them added to the roulette too.. but mostly because lv60-69 gets so boring with just Alex raids..
