Devs unironically buffed Black Mages but everyone here is complaining about emotes

How about, as a community we focus on the important things like telling the Devs how to do their job, because clearly they are extremely incompetent and tone-deaf.

They want to make an e-sport out of this, and we keep hearing how 'they listen to the Japanese forums but not English'

It's 2023 and they still haven't added:

• A tab function to quick report someone, so the system prints the person's name, time, server and map and then a quick summary box of what the issue is.
• Mute all button to mute sounds
• Diminishing returns
• CC effect radius reduction
• Respect player time by doing actual legitimate buffs and nerfs
• De-rank for all ranks
• Actual match making

Yoshi P and the gang claim they want to make the game more accessible to newcomers, and they make changes that are foolproof, like needing to wait a second and a bit extra before you can use Guard again.

Yet, the current system creates elitist divide, dividing regular players, so they are ranked down to plat and all newcomers below gold.

This game, this game does not need more gate keeping, keep that in the cash shop where it's convoluted to add game-time, not in game.

We all claim we love PvP but nobody is trying to work on fixing it, 'it's how the way it is' is the default go-to but it shouldn't be.

We should all be having fun, and not feel like the system punishes us for wanting to play good, winning or play more.

Hope we can focus on more important things, and as we can tell, from 2 years of examples, the devs need specific details because they don't know what they are doing and that's a fact.

My friend Bureda raised some interesting points, specifically the report function in CC is close to useless due to the clunkiness of it and the actions that never seem to be taken against the usual offenders in the mode unless the report counts is huge (And even then it's not even a guarantee).

Wanted to add of course that Italy is a european country such as many others that have been excluded from CCRC and have been barred from expressing my love for the game without so much of an explanation. Many of us just wanted to play the game in front of an audience even without a monetary reward, it's outrageous that on SE side there hasn't been an attempt to work around country laws(Just don't give us the money but merch instead? The possibilities are countless)

I agree with most takes, there are so many things they could change/add to CC to actually make it feel like a competitive gamemode that receives proper focus and care from the developer team. We all want the game mode to be better at the end of the day.

Also I have made a post well over a month ago about CCRC country eligibility because it is outrageous that only 16/50 european countries can enter, as my friend Ritlas says above I would even compete without being eligible for money reward, but it is too late now sadly and I can only hope that Hungary will become a real european country over the time.

Yo, it's cool that y'all are bringing up legit issues with the systems and on the official forums and that you all rolled up to support each other as a group of friends.

If you hadn't noticed, the official forums is kinda lacking in knowledgeable or regular players that actually care about the mode here on the official forums. Most threads are posted by players with little or negative experiences to vent and move on.

There's basically no threads to even teach completely new players that might be interested in the mode, and their earliest experience with the mode might end up being the 'pathetic' threads or a general sense of being unwelcome by being talked down to by what appear to be elitists that don't care about their issues.

On occasion we even have a small gang from some PvP discord that apparently exists deign to come through and mock everyone, too.

I invite y'all and your relatively unused forum accounts to post regularly about things that actually matter to you, maybe we can help each other's voices be heard on things that will improve the modes we enjoy.

I'd like them to work on their damn tab target button, it's been garbage since 2013.

I'd also like them to let me keybind running backwards and backpedaling. I like being able to do both. Or enable legacy movement without it following my camera.

Maybe I don't understand what would be ironic about them buffing BLM or why this is/isn't a problem in your view, and your post doesn't really exactly explain it.

The emote topic has been covered so not gonna touch it but regarding your dismissal or reduction of the forum and the previous post is a bit misleading considering that as far as I'm aware the gnb change didn't come from discord or Twitter but from the forums where the idea was posted ad nauseum whether JP had it 1st or not im unsure but there has been beneficial threads in this forum especially when discussing the issues you've layed out, also doesn't help that you're reacting counter to what you claim you want from the forums to someone who replied earnestly with an inconvenient fact
