And I like having exclusive rewards that not many people can get. That newbie would either give up or hype himself and say "that's cool, I want an exclusive reward too" and start playing ranked PvP next season, and really do we want people who give up so easily playing ranked anyways? They will just give up after their first bronze match anyways...

If it's about wanting to get exclusive stuff and not about finding the mounts and armor actually cool, then you have an argument. I think the vast majority of potential pvp enjoyers are people who wouldn't actually care about exclusivity and more about the rewards themselves though. And those two are mutually exclusive.

I don't think they'd ever go back to huge cosmetic rewards as exclusive stuff for the top 100. I do personally think the model they have for the Hellhound weapons right now is pretty good and should add on to it more.

What keeps matches going in Crystal in CC and Diamond in Feast was good exclusive t100 rewards. The extra augmented Hellhound weapon and mounts like Dreadnaught made the top ranks more alive. We need more such rewards please. Exclusivity actually helps keep games alive, you can see this by looking at how the t100 floor is higher since they released augmented Hellhound and Feast s18-s20 floor was also higher because of the glam and mount

No in Feast it was the same 10 people playing every evening at midnight who kept the matches popping. Most of the seasons were so dead you could play 1 evening in a season that lasted for months and still make it to top 100.

I have been in the top 100 three tiems and honestly I think the rewards shoudl be released to the public. It has bee years and a good amount of those that won no longer play. I would be 100% ok if they released it for like 20 wolf collars each. Make it a big grind and let everyoene enjoy it. FOMO is a terrible thing for MMOs imo.
