    Most efficient leveling outside MSQ.

Hello, Im truly not sure where to post this and googling it has returned multiple answers so i thought id make a post.
I am a totally new player only about a month still working thru the MSQ on my main spec but my ADHD wont let me play just one all the time so i mix in working on alt jobs and such.
I mainly DPS but also like to heal a bit.
Im curious what is the current best most efficient way to level alt jobs and such without the MSQ.
Below 50 ive been mixing in the hunting logs and side quests and fates while doing dungeons and such but as there seems to real indication of the levels a given zone is im unsure where to quest and what i should be doing. Above 50 it feels even less clear without even the hunting logs to add in. It feels very random, i find myself jumping all over the place.
There seems no real clear path on this and it seems to be taking much longer then expected.
Any tips or hints that would help organize this into a more logical process would be appreciated.

I don't know what's "most efficient", but for me, "simple and reliable" is:
    • Daily roulettes: Each roulette gives a sizable EXP bonus once per day. The Frontlines roulette gives the EXP to the PvE job you queue as, so you can switch to your preferred PvP job once you're in the instance.
    • Highest level dungeon you can queue for that isn't Lv. 50/60/70/….
    • Weekly challenge log.

There’s daily roulette, pvp, and the challenge log are pretty good ways to level. A food buff and FC buff can speed things up too

Definitely roulettes followed by PvP and dungeons. Don't bother with side quests, the XP they give is abysmal.

Do some frontlines / rival wings pvp when you need a break from MSQ. Get some exp for the class you queued up as (you can change when you get in) and get some event tomes to buy the goodies from the rising event.
Or stick to the roulettes as suggested, if you aren't a fan of casual pvp - or do both with frontline roulette!

Buy the boost from mogstation. If you do that, make sure you find a training dummy And figure out the basics.

Thanks for the responses to date.
@Eastwall correct me if im wrong but that bypasses all story, and im not in that big of a hurry having just joined to game id like to experience that at least the first time thru.
@ everyone Is there anything in game that give a higher XP boost other than the small percentages from food i should know about? For alt jobs bridging the gap between job quests would be nice
But yeah, not looking for any skips, just some acceleration
Im in no huge hurry to jump to endgame and bypass all that as part of the experience id just like a more organized approach.

As your main job gets higher all the other jobs will receive a higher boost in EXP from the Armory Bonus.
That aside, you can get Squadron Scrolls that give 15% increase for an hour, there is also queuing with a mentor if you're a sprout, exp-boosting accessories that one gets from the xpac collector editions, and the Heat of Battle [i/ii/iii] buff from FCs that gives [5/10/15%]

This guy's got the right idea, but I would add in the caveat that only Leveling, MSQ, and Frontlines roulettes are good and time efficient. Guildhest roulette, alliance raid roulette, and 50/60/70/80 roulettes just don't give enough EXP over running another dungeon of your highest level. They're not horribly inefficient though, if you just want a change of pace.

In between queue pops (definitely more of an issue with DPS than healer or tank), either take a break and goof around in the Gold Saucer or with crafting, if you don't want to risk any kind of burnout. If you really want to power level though, knock out the highest level FATEs you can, and do your current expansion's hunts as you're able to (i.e. pick up all the hunt pages, then do FATES and hunt targets in your zone.) Don't underestimate the power of the challenge log -- those continue to scale with good EXP up until the current expansion (so they stop scaling at 79, they're still good EXP all the way though.)

Oh, and be sure to pick up the Wondrous Tails from Khloe in Idyllshire. Completing 9 stamps gives 50% of a level's worth of EXP once a week, and it should only take a couple of Second Chance resets to get all 9. Plus, that and MSQ Roulette will make sure you're well-stocked on poetics so you can keep your gear up to date for all your alt jobs.

    Edit-
Oh, forgot to mention. Do 3 "Under the Armor" guildhests (it's the second one) per week, just for the challenge log. Each run takes like 60 seconds (half of which is loading in and out) and the challenge log bonus is quite good. Also give people commendations for that challenge log too.

If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.

This is not true and has not been true for years, if ever.

Your not-highest jobs get a fixed boost according to their current level. Last time I checked, it was +100% until you reach current expansion (so below level 80 now) and then +50% the rest of the way.
