I'm sorry, but everywhere is like that. Where ever there is human interaction, you will find people looking for love. Back in ancient times, people who sent written letters to eachother would fall in love via letters, even though they had never met nor seen eachother. That is how one of my late relatives met their husband.

It's not uncommon for people to meet their husband/wife via an MMORPG. I have met more people who have than I could possibly remember and it's not recent either. This has happened since the earliest days of MMORPGs and online games.

Like I know online isn't rated but we got kids who play this game and stuff.
While it is true that young people play with parental oversight, the vast majority of people who play are adults. I remember being part of an FFXIV forum years ago and birthdays were public and everyone was 18+. Most were in their 20s or early 30s.

The free trial being extended beyond level 35 might have changed that, because before that you effectively needed to have a bank account with an awful lot of pocket money in order to play any past endgame content. Soon, you won't need one all the way up through Stormblood, so the amount of younger players could have significantly increased.

But I don't know, does this game really appeal to people that young compared to other aesthetics? Regardless, I doubt most of them get to level 90 because that would require paying.

There needs to be a huge limit here and yes we can even include venue ad spam.
I suppose, since I think free trials can view PF? Maybe disallow PF to free trials and that would mostly restrict it to adults.
