Suggestion for future moogle tomestone events

The moogle tomestone events are honestly just one big grind.

I had a couple in my FC who were still in HW in the last one where the BF insisted on just farming everything before continuing msq, while the gf wanted to continue MSQ after farming the most important items. I've heard several other people mention how they just feel like they have to grind it out, even if it isn't fun just because they'd feel like they're missing out. (kinda like the pvp pass, but that's not relevant here)

So here's my suggestion for future Moogle Tomestone events.

Make it similar to khloe books, minus rerolls & second chance points. Have the moogle hand out a book once a week. can be a 4x4 or 5x5 grid. On it are the duties that are included in the event. (make these duties the same for everyone, so people can easily organize. this is a big flaw with the khloe book)
If you get a line woo you get a flat bonus of extra tomes! complete the whole book? even bigger bonus.

This would gamify the event, make it feel more interactive. It would turn it from a mindless grind to a more varied and weekly experience.
Of course people who want to just mindlessly grind, still should be able too.


PS: bring back the MGP option too. It's the only repeatable thing that long time players can get.

It's not about how long it's running, its about the mindset. This would make the event more enjoyable & feel less forced. You can set yourself a weekly fun goal, instead of a mindless far off grind.
And just to be clear, i've already got most of the items on the vendor.

Not to mention it's like... the only event that asks you to even play the game. Every other event is over in 10 minutes and generally just asks you to watch some cutscenes. I like that these events give people a reason to do things together again, and I wish we'd get them more often. There's also so much time to complete them that you could probably do 1 orbonne a day and have all the things you want by the time it's over.
That being said, I don't dislike OP's idea either. I think we should get it in addition to the moogle events. Like, there's so much downtime where nothing happens in this game and it's gross imo that the only noteworthy thing we have to tide us over is this.

1 and half? I think I missed the memo... the moogle event will last after patch 6.5 or is that it's going to land around mid-October instead?

The event lasts until the launch of Patch 6.5, and while we don't have an exact date for that it's scheduled to be released in "early October."

It will last until the release of Patch 6.5, which should be in early October.

In short, you are asking that devs add a mooglestone prize in Wondrous Tails.
The moogle event is a lure to push experienced players to make content they normally avoid playing and as a result new players find group more easily.
Other than that the event gives something to do in a flat period.

If I can just do some expert / levelling roulette to acquire mooglestones the meaning of the event is lost.

Btw, I see platinum MGP card as reward for my W. tails card.
