No Active Subscription Issue

Hey folks, this game seems to be testing my patience lately. I just recovered my account and have synced it with Steam which I am thinking was a mistake.

I paid for the Entry level subscription through the website, and my account is now reading:
Days of Play Time Remaining 13, Total Days Subscribed: 30 Days until Next Rank 30. I can get in the game and play fine, no issues.

HOWEVER, I went to try and buy a Job Boost to get an 80 Dark Knight and it told me that I did not have an active subscription and I can't make the purchase... What do I do here? I was charged for the sub, however it's not showing up on my MogStation under purchases and it tells me that I am inactive.

I would like to give these folks my money however the UX is very hard to do such a thing.

Could anyone please take a moment to give me some advice on this, as I just want to get in and enjoy the game as a Dark Knight.

If you just updated your account, you may have to wait awhile for the various systems to synch up. There is sometimes a lag in those updates filtering down, especially to the Mog Store to buy those boosts and other goodies.

With regards the sync to Steam, my understanding is this is irreversible, prevents you from playing on other platforms with the same account and characters, forces you to buy all expansions through Steam and not elsewhere, forces you to launch the game with Steam (rather than launching it in a way that doesn't show or while Steam is closed). So there are people who regret doing it, certainly.

I don't know about the subscription issue. It does look like you have one, but it could just be showing the free 30 days you get with the standard or complete editions of the game. Maybe it is just taking some time to update, but it should be more than a day at most and often I have seen lodestone updates be as quick as 1 to a few hours.

You could check your email because it sends an email saying "Payment Complete" if successful.
