Who even read the letter forest? They're all so generic it might as well be copied from store bought holiday greeting cards

Thank you! I'll look for this.
I read all of them. And I've never seen a greeting card with messages like this, but why am I even responding to a troll alt?

This years rising hit hard af just wanna say the dev team and yoshi-p really hit the 4th wall with this years rising and the fade the black screen messagewas happy to be apart of this years rising.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.

So not to rain on anyone's parade, but the song that is played is called Answers Reprise and it plays every year at the rising event, it isn't new. It's a good touch and definitely gives a certain ambiance to the event.

It also played I think in just about every zone at the end of 1.0 before they had Bahamut nuke it. It's hauntingly beautiful taking that into account, and it was a great tie in for the "End of An Era" trailer that dropped in game as the servers went down.

Actually, it's not quite the same track - the piece that played in every zone of 1.0 just before the 'Calamity' shutdown was actually different to Answers ~ Reprise. The 1.0 track's name has never been stated (and has never been released - it was missing from the FF XIV ~ Before Meteor soundtrack album), but has been fondly and unofficially called 'Dalamud Answers' by players.
The difference is in the structure - although both tracks feature Susan Calloway singing it in a capella, Answers ~ Reprise just repeats the first two or three verses of Answers where as Dalamud Answers is the full song in it's entirety, but Susan's vocals are deliberately distorted and don't just echo (with the benefit of hindsight, it was as if Hydaelyn herself was writhing in pain and despair, which, in a way, she was).
Just wanted to clarify that point as they're not actually exactly the same track.

Have to admit, I was actually really pleased when I used the new Phoenix 'mount' for the first time and realised that the mount music is:
Prelude - Rebirth

Hearing "Answers" play by the decorations made me feel so warm. I loved the cameo as well! A nice homage to 10 years of FFXIV ARR and beyond![]()
Why do you keep posting this kind of thing?Too many of the critics aren't expressing any love for the game, though. They're only expressing hate.
I know that has come up before but as I've said before if players only mention what the devs are doing wrong and never mention what they're doing right, they're going to stop paying attention. No one can work effectively if they're stuck in a negative echo chamber.
You've had it laid out to you pretty explicitly that this isn't how things work, like in Lauront's excellent response in a previous thread: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post6323211
It just feels like you know what you are posting isn't true, and are knowingly misrepresenting reality to appeal to peoples emotions.
That's typical Jojoya though, their signature already says enoughWhy do you keep posting this kind of thing?
