Thank you from me as well. I've enjoyed the game the past 7 years.

I did the event early this morning with my cousin, who is still fairly new to the game. She told me she appreciates being able to play a game where the developers express their own appreciation to the players.

Also, the Kupo Kupo mini-game is a lot of fun!

Considering they only add items to the online store, not remove items, it makes sense that there are more items to choose from now than at any point in the past.

It's pretty amazing how upset people get over a dozen or so items being added to the cash shop over the course of an expansion while the game itself gets hundreds that can be earned through gameplay.

What I really dont get is that these same people dump all over the game all the time, complain about "corporate profits" etc..and yet here they are, paying for said game. The mogshop has some items, granted, but the fact is that the vast majority of items is ingame.

You're having a hard time understanding this because you think criticism of the game comes from a place of hate, when really it's just people who love the game and don't want it to get oversimplified, milked, and streamlined to death.

Too many of the critics aren't expressing any love for the game, though. They're only expressing hate.

I know that has come up before but as I've said before if players only mention what the devs are doing wrong and never mention what they're doing right, they're going to stop paying attention. No one can work effectively if they're stuck in a negative echo chamber.

Yoshi P's message felt super generic this year. Not even a mention of how many years I've been playing or referencing past rising events like they did before. Most I got was Bran recognizing me. :/
