    Thank you to YoshiP and the devs for the Rising

    Just want to say thank you for the Rising. The music in the cities and in particular the letters from the Devs. Of course, the cameo from YoshiP himself is never to be missed. It was special and heartwarming. Thank you for caring about the game and the players.

    Yeah. Just got back to the game a few weeks ago and avoided posting here until now. Honestly, I've been enjoying the game a bit more by not posting here. lol I still have my gripes with the game, but I did appreciate one part of the message specifically that boiled down to "Things aren't always great, but I'm glad to hear that you are having fun regardless." It sort of implies that he's at least aware when things don't go as planned or promised. It was a small thing, but it was kind of nice to see. I usually enjoy the Rising every year even if I might not be thrilled with other parts of the game, and this was no exception.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
