    Thats been the biggest issue with 24 man as of late. The mechanics are so devoid of cooperation sometimes I Just Right click-follow someone who looks skilled and check snapchat for 20min, along with a lack layering with mechanics and DPS. But Aglaia is the worst 24man due to this and a cinematic is NOT the best part lmao

    It's so heartbreaking seeing this mechanic getting skipped. I wonder if having bosses being 'buffed', both HP-wise and damage-wise, if the average iLvl is way too high, would be good, so they could execute their main mechanics correctly. That or having an iLvl synch. Skipping entire cutscenes, unique voicelines and mechanics is pretty sad.
    It does not help that Nald'thal is pretty slow to execute his mechanics

    I honestly don’t know which is worse

    Having cinematic mechanics like scales so deep in the fight you never see them after ilvl goes 1 level above the minimum or overcorrecting and ending up euphrosyne that doesn’t even have an interesting mechanic to speak of. Like what would be the most visually interesting mechanic of euphrosyne………I’m honestly drawing a blank here

    Once we had to hold our DPS at 5% because they were dying before the cool mech.

    For a game heavily based on lore and immersion, it's lazy work indeed.

    I quite like Halone and the expanding ring aoe, but that's more as a RDM/RPR and doing a showy last second displacement/egress. The reverse order water knockback on the 2nd boss... maybe? If you even get to that now...
    And yea, it's simply down to ilvl (and how quickly it increases). People can say what they want about alliance raids being unchallenging, but do them on MINE. Dead bodies left and right, healers having to actually heal, all mechanics being seen.

    I'd say the most visually interesting mech of Euphrosyne would be Althyk's enrage, Neikos. But that's an enrage, which is a shame, because it's visually impressive, but almost nobody would be able to see it. Wish he could have gotten that as a real mechanic

    Could go the other route where pushing too hard ends up detrimental like the final boss in Haukke Hard where she'd instantly eat minions as soon as they spawned to empower her AoE if ppl dropped her HP too fast.

    Yes he does, as well as a full LB3 for every alliance, that's his 'blessing' that I miss very deeply...

    There is also a special voiceline if you failed the Scales, but managed to survive his 'enrage'. I'm always impressed about all the efforts puts in this specific mechanic, just to be skipped now because of our iLvl...!

    It's not only ARs that have this issue.

    Today I finally finished SB main story, and I knew Shinryu would be a dissapointment after Thordan. I took the subreddit's usual suggestion of creating a PF for the capstone fight and I spent more time waiting for people than in the actual trial. Actually, no one ever joined the party, so I ended up accepting my fate and entering DF. I told people in chat that it was my Capstone fight and I would like if we could go easy on the boss, to which I got "I can't read so I won't do what you're asking for" as a reply and the rest is history. Effing Lakshmi was more of a challenge than the final boss of the expansion.

    I was told the normal content got increasingly enjoyable past HW, but I actually feel HW's normal content was more engaging, except for Thordan. I know about the evolution of this game and how Shinryu used to be considered too hard for normal content, but I see it's trend that things get increasinly easier to the point of whole mechanics being skipped. I know it will happen again with Hades, I know it will happen with Endwalker, and I know it will happen in the rest of Normal Raids and Alliance Raids.

    Seriously, my interest in progressing though the game has never been this low.
