Skipped the last mechanic in Aglaia (The cinematic one)

Hey. Got Aglaia in my Alliance Roulette today (Blessed) and we literally skipped the last Nald'Thal mechanic, the one with the cinematic and all, so I was wondering, what if a new player were to do it now? They would miss out on the best part of the raid, wouldn't it be better if Alliance Raid/Important msq stuff was capped, or maybe ilvl capped if a new player is in the instance? I understand people are farming it as of right now and maybe we all knew what we were doing with our jobs and also because of the Moogle Event but this made me even more worried to miss out on content when it's "fresh" and I do not think it's good that some people might not see that mechanic now. What are your thoughts on this? I would personally hate to miss out on certain mechanics like that, considering you don't even skip that much, it's just one mechanic so there's really no point in not making it unskippable.
Edit: Forgot to add that I hadn't done Aglaia in months and I know ilvl is much higher now but the difference was quite noticeable, which is great in terms of dps but I still think new players should have priority on enjoying certain fights.

You should have started worrying about it since CT raids.

And I have, just because I made a post about it now doesn't mean I thought it was great when I started playing. It just hit me now because I hadn't done aglaia in months. I think it would be fun because I am 90% sure no one knows CT mechanics, myself included, it would be fun

Yes, citizen, I agree with you. A lot of non ultimate/savage/ex content is too easy and bosses get killed way too quickly. A new player's experience would benefit, IMO, if ilvl caps or stricter ilvl caps were introduced just so new players can experience the full fight.

    The mountain guides us home.

It's kind of what they get for making the Alliance Raids as easy as they do...

But the only counter solution to that design the team seems to have is giving the bosses more HP. Which ultimately doesn't really make the bosses that much harder, just longer.

This but at the same time I'm not going to complain when it comes to Aglaia because of the amount of trolls I've seen with the scales. One person wiping the entire party at the last minute because they feel like it isn't fun.

I haven't seen more than a couple of people intentionally wipe the raid with the scales since it was released, but I do see a lot of people going back and forth to mess with the whole alliance. They usually stand still in the right spot when the time for weighing comes though.

All the bosses in Aglaia, and even sometimes in Euphrosyne as well, go down too quickly -- but yeah, it's especially noticeable when you miss out on the "balance" phase of Nald'Thal. It's sad to think about first-timers not getting to see it. Heck, our items levels are going to go up a couple more times by the end of the expansion, so there may be a time when we simply don't see that mechanic ever again. New players won't have any idea what they're missing.

For such a big "event" mechanic, it has always seemed very late in the fight – doubly so with the risk (however low) of people trolling it or just getting it wrong and forcing the fight to restart.

At minimum, I think they could skip Nald's second round of "Fired Up" knockbacks and do it later. Either that or have it totally random per fight whether we get Fired Up or Thal's Balls.

In a fight where the key mechanic revolves around the boss having two forms with different effects and some randomness in which form is active, that could easily extend to major sequences, especially when you're expected to run the raid multiple times.

Personally I'm glad it can be skipped. A single malicious player can F* up 23 other people's time if they so chose to on that mechanic.

See: Rabanastre raids. The bosses are massive HP sponges.
